Teens Need Libraries!

What libraries mean to teens has changed over the years, but we see them here now more than ever! Believe it or not, they are reading and they are also using the library to connect with their local community. Watch the video below to learn more about teens in libraries.

Teen Room Policies

  • Click here to view the Teen Room rules

  • Click here to view our Code of Conduct

  • When school is out-of-session (after 3 p.m., summer break, school breaks, half days, snow days, etc.), the Teen Room is for only for grades 7-12.

  • Even if there is no one else in the room, we ask that you respect the rule that this is a teen-only zone when schools are out.

  • Anyone is welcome to browse through the YA collection at any time during library hours.
