Fairy Houses Story Time at the Barre Town Forest (44 Brook Street, Websterville)
Saturday, May 20 at 10:30 a.m.
Mr. Ian will be hosting a fairy houses story time and will use his magic bagpipes to call out to the fairies of the forest. Following some fairy stories, children will be asked to construct fairy houses using only what they can find in their surroundings. They will be a fairy scavenger hunt to follow. Dress for the weather conditions and check the library Facebook page for updates.

Family Playgroup
Every Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. in the Milne Community Room
Wednesday Morning Playgroup downstairs in the Milne Community Room! Come for a fun time with lots of things to do! Open to all community families with children birth to 5. Brought to you by the Family Center of Washington County. Please come to the backdoor and ring the doorbell to enter as the library will be closed at the time.


Full STEAM Ahead (November - April)

Third Thursday of each month from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Milne Community Room
Click here for more information. An afterschool program with a focus on team problem solving and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) education for 4th and 5th Graders in Barre. The program is completely free for participants.

Chess Club
Thursdays from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Milne Community Room
Ages 7-13 are invited to join us in a game of chess! Players of all levels welcome-- no prior experience required. Feel free to bring your own chess set. 


Lego Club

Wednesdays from 4 to 5:30 p.m. in the Milne Community Room
Come test your creativity with LEGO challenges and earn badges. Legos and snacks provided. Ages 5 and up invited! 

 

York Branch Story Hour

Every Thursday at 10 a.m. at the York Branch (134 Mill Street, East Barre)

All the fun of story hour: Songs, stories, and fingerplays, followed by a craft, conveniently located at our East Barre branch!
