Aldrich Public Library is seeking a dynamic, visionary leader to fill the position of Library Director. The library seeks a progressive, collaborative team-builder who is an experienced and committed professional with proven management and administrative skills. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about current and emerging trends and best practices in public library services and embrace the rapid technological changes occurring in today’s public libraries.
This is a full time position that requires a minimum of an MLS degree from an ALA accredited program or equivalent education; five years of library experience of which two years should be in a supervisory capacity preferred.

Friends of the Library
Friends of the Library host fundraising events throughout the year including the annual banquet and auction, book sales, and more. Funds raised are an invaluable resource that supports collection development and makes possible many event series at the library including kids summer crafts, the summer authors series, discussion groups, and more.
The Friends also sell books by local authors as well as library paraphernalia. Stop by to see what they have to offer! All proceeds benefit the Aldrich Public Library.
Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm in the library board room. All are welcome to attend.
Call for Board of Trustees Applicants
The Aldrich Board of Trustees meet once or more monthly to advise and support the Library Director, evaluate and adopt library policies and strategic goals, and learn about the work of the library staff and collection.
