Friends of the Library

WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING BOOK DONATIONS AT THIS TIME DUE TO LACK OF STORAGE.
The Friends of the Library host fundraising events throughout the year including the annual banquet and auction, book sales, and more. Funds raised are an invaluable resource that supports collection development and makes possible many event series at the library including kids summer crafts, the summer authors series, discussion groups, and more.
The Friends also sell books by local authors as well as library paraphernalia. Stop by to see what they have to offer! All proceeds benefit the Aldrich Public Library.
Meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of every month at 4 p.m. in the library board room. All are welcome to attend.
Donations
The Aldrich Public Library relies on less tax revenue than the average library of our size in Vermont. Donations are vital to providing modern library materials, technology, services, and programming for all Barre City and Barre Town residents.

Volunteers are the backbone of the Aldrich Public Library. Volunteers help us maintain a welcoming community space through a variety of projects and tasks that include helping us with renovations, shelving books, assisting with programming and library events, book delivery, fundraising, and more.
